Mia Salisbury
Row.
Mia grew up partially in a small country town in Australia and moved to Talisay City, Cebu, at the age of 14. Growing up in the country side she spent a lot of time in nature, and naturally because she loves the outdoors her hobbies include: going on hikes, rock climbing, trying out new cafes/coffee spots, and badminton. She also loves being curled up on the couch watching her favorite films with her beagle, Cassie.
Mia is a long distance runner and what she learns from running is what she applies in her life and workouts, especially because she is an advocate for Mental Health. “I get so much of a thrill from road & trail run races. I find long distance runs very meditative and it’s really helped me build mental fortitude. Last April I ran 24km for my 24th birthday, the longest I ran prior to that was only 12km. I wanted to start my 24th year off right and set it as a reminder to myself that I can do hard things, and do anything I put my mind to. I have a couple of spartan trail races under my belt, and placed 11th in my age group out of 49 from my last race.“ says Mia.
Outside of the studio, as a Filmmaking & Creative Media Arts Graduate, Mia keeps herself busy as a producer & assistant director for TV Commercials, digital ads & events.
She may be a first-time fitness instructor, but she is dedicated, full of energy, and enthusiastic. She’s sure to bring a fresh perspective to Saddle Row!
